Trump says he thinks he has a deal with Canada on trade
SPY•Trump says tariffs were delayed amid possible Canada trade deal
WASHINGTON, Aug 19 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday said he delayed tariffs on some Canadian goods because he thought a deal had been reached with Prime Minister Mark Carney.
“We delayed it for three days because I think we have a deal with the Prime Minister and (a) good deal for everybody. So that's good,” Trump told reporters.
