Trump to host Zuckerberg, Anthropic's Amodei, and other AI titans Tuesday
XLK•Donald Trump will host a Tuesday meeting with lawmakers and technology executives to discuss balancing AI innovation and oversight. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and OpenAI President Greg Brockman are expected to attend.

Trump will meet with House Speaker Mike Johnson, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Anthropic's Dario Amodei to discuss AI. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and OpenAI President Greg Brockman are also expected to attend.
2. Debate over oversight
Johnson said the discussion will focus on balancing innovation and oversight. He said the United States should not impose a moratorium or overregulate AI, warning it could lose the race to China.
3. Public concerns
A September 17–20 Reuters/Ipsos poll found that 73% of respondents worry AI companies have not done enough to prevent serious harm, while 55% said it would be good to slow AI development. Under an executive order Trump signed in June, developers are asked to voluntarily submit covered frontier models for government review up to 30 days before releasing them to trusted partners.
