In May 2026 TSMC posted NT$416.98 billion in revenue, a 30.1% year-on-year increase and 1.5% month-on-month gain, driven by strong orders for advanced AI and high-performance computing chips that support Nvidia’s GPU production.
2. SK Hynix ADR Debut and Nvidia Partnership
SK Hynix is preparing a U.S. ADR listing as early as August with potential proceeds of up to $14 billion, leveraging its position as Nvidia’s largest high-bandwidth memory supplier under a new multi-year development agreement.
3. GM’s EV-to-Grid Software and Sodium-Ion Batteries
General Motors rolled out a pilot EV-to-grid software update allowing owners to sell stored power back to utilities and is developing sodium-ion battery cells for utility-scale AI data centers, highlighting expanding grid infrastructure for Nvidia GPUs.
