TSMC to invest in Sony joint venture for image sensors

TAIPEI, Aug. 11 (Reuters) - Taiwan chipmaker TSMC said on Tuesday it will invest 282 billion yen ($1.77 billion) in a joint venture with Sony Group to develop and make next-generation image sensors.
