1. Early trial results
TuHURA Biosciences reported preliminary results from its Phase 1b/2a trial of IFx-2.0 with Keytruda for metastatic Merkel cell carcinoma. All three initial patients experienced substantial tumor shrinkage, with responses ongoing at six months.
2. Study plans
The nine-patient study evaluates safety and feasibility in patients with deep-seated or bulky tumors receiving first-line treatment. Continued strong responses could prompt trial expansion and FDA discussions about supplementing the ongoing Phase 3 trial, contingent on its success. TuHURA plans to present the results at a scientific conference in 2027.
