Turkish Airlines finalizes firm order for Boeing 737 MAX jets

Turkish Airlines THYAO.IS announced Wednesday that it has finalized firm orders for 100 Boeing BA.N 737 MAX jets, with options for another 50 of the popular single-aisle jets.

Turkish Airlines had threatened to walk away from the deal over a dispute about maintenance with engine maker CFM.

The jetliners are slated for delivery between 2033 and 2037.
