Tuya unveils AI home and robot ecosystem at IFA

Tuya attended IFA 2026 in Berlin, unveiling its “Hey Tuya” multiagent smart-home interaction system.

It showcased Doova, a new AI companion robot aimed at seniors living independently, with voice-triggered assistance, home monitoring, LiDAR navigation, and vision-based posture detection.

The company said the event marked the European debut of its AI Home, AI Energy, and AI Robot ecosystems, positioning a broader push into home automation, robotics, and energy management.

Tuya also highlighted an expanded Matter portfolio spanning chip modules, cloud services, and device categories, targeting cross-platform interoperability while retaining proprietary features.

The company promoted developer tools TuyaOpen, Cobuilder, and AI Coding to speed AI hardware development, aiming to scale products across its 2,092,000 registered AI developers.
