Q2 loss widens as income turns negative
Tvardi Therapeutics posted a Q2 net loss of USD 6.5 million, swinging from net income of USD 4.2 million a year earlier.
Loss per share was USD 0.69, versus basic EPS of USD 0.51 in the prior-year quarter.
Operating expenses decline on lower clinical and professional costs
R&D expense fell 31.09% to USD 4 million, on lower TTI-101 clinical costs, partly offset by higher TTI-109 development spending.
G&A costs slipped 14.26% to USD 2.63 million, on lower professional fees, partly offset by higher legal and investor relations costs.
