TYL•Tyler expands public safety software offerings with CODY Systems deal
Tyler Technologies acquired public safety software provider CODY Systems to expand its cloud-first offerings for law enforcement and other public sector agencies.
The deal strengthens Tyler’s position in the small-to-midsize public safety market, targeting faster deployments, improved interoperability, and better real-time data access.
CODY adds Pathfinder RMS, a cloud-native records management platform, supporting broader integration across Tyler’s public safety product suite. The acquisition also brings COBRAnet, aimed at cross-agency and statewide information sharing.
CODY serves more than 300 clients across 10 states; the business is based in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
