UBS reports higher second-quarter profit and revenue
UBS posted 2Q26 net profit of USD 2.8 billion, up 16.91% year over year, as profit before tax climbed 63.87% to USD 3.59 billion.
Total revenues rose 13.13% from a year earlier to USD 13.7 billion; diluted EPS increased 20.83% to USD 0.87.
Return on CET1 capital improved 1.9 percentage points to 15.4%; cost/income ratio narrowed 7.6 percentage points to 72.9%.
Global Wealth Management profit before tax climbed 38% year over year to USD 2 billion; Investment Bank profit before tax more than doubled to USD 1.16 billion on 31% higher revenues.
CET1 capital ratio stood at 14.4%; UBS completed its latest share buyback, launching a new USD 3 billion program through end-2Q27.
