UBS integration of Credit Suisse slowed AI deployment, Ermotti says
UBS•UBS CEO Sergio Ermotti said integrating Credit Suisse forced the bank to slow its AI deployment somewhat, but it can now put more emphasis on technology. He also said UBS does not allow outside AI agents to enter on behalf of clients.

Sergio Ermotti said UBS’s integration of Credit Suisse, acquired in 2023, forced the bank to slow its AI deployment somewhat. Speaking at an event at ETH Zurich, he said UBS can now put even more emphasis on technology and is not allowing outside AI agents to enter on behalf of clients.
