UHS completes acquisition of Talkspace

Universal Health Services completed its acquisition of Talkspace, combining a large hospital operator with a virtual behavioral health platform.

The deal, announced March 9, 2026, closed following regulatory clearances and other customary closing conditions.

UHS plans to integrate Talkspace with its behavioral health facilities to link virtual care with outpatient programs and inpatient treatment.

Talkspace operates nationwide with about 6,000 licensed providers, offering access through insurers and employers, with self-pay options.
