UK stocks: Factors to watch on September 28

Britain’s FTSE 100 was seen opening higher on Monday, with futures up 0.2%. Entain cut its online gaming revenue growth forecast to 4%-6% on a constant-currency basis after Brazil banned online sports betting and gaming. Tullow Oil reported a sharp rise in first-half free cash flow, helped by strong Ghana output and higher oil prices.
2. Other business news
CVC Advisers said it did not plan to make an offer for Bodycote. Monzo is reportedly in early-stage talks with Brazil’s Nubank about a potential combination that could value Monzo at £8 billion-£10 billion.

Britain’s finance minister John Healey will back firms investing in defence as part of an industrialisation drive. Heathrow Airport said the opening of its planned third runway could be delayed until 2039.
