UK watchdog flags competition concerns over Brink's $6.6 billion NCR Atleos deal

The CMA said the proposed deal could weaken competition in the UK market and gave the parties until October 7 to offer undertakings. If they do not, the regulator said it would refer the merger for an in-depth Phase 2 investigation.
2. Brink's proposes sale
Brink's said the concerns involve its NoteMachine and TestLink ATM businesses in the UK and NCR Atleos' Cardtronics business. Brink's said it had already decided to propose a sale process covering NoteMachine and TestLink.
