1. Attack in Moscow region
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said Ukraine had launched more than 650 drones toward the capital, most of which were shot down. Moscow region Governor Andrei Vorobyov said 185 drones were destroyed or brought down over his region; seven people were injured, and 47 houses, four apartments and three cars were damaged.
2. Fuel depot damage unconfirmed
War blogger Yuri Podolyaka said an oil storage tank was hit at the Volodarskaya oil storage and distribution facility, a major regional hub that stores diesel, gasoline and jet fuel. There was no official confirmation of a hit, and video published by a Ukrainian war blog purporting to show a blaze could not immediately be verified.
3. Two people killed
Vorobyov said a 71-year-old man was found dead under the rubble of a house and a 20-year-old man was killed in a nearby village. The Volodarskaya facility is linked to Moscow’s main oil refinery and supplies fuel to the capital’s three large airports.
