Ultra Clean swings to FY26 Q2 GAAP profit of $8.7 million; revenue rises to $644.9 million

Ultra Clean posted fiscal 2026 second-quarter GAAP revenue of $644.9 million, returning to GAAP profit of $8.7 million, or $0.19 per diluted share.

GAAP gross margin rose to 16.1% and operating margin widened to 4.6%.

Non-GAAP net income climbed to $32.3 million, or $0.70 per diluted share, with non-GAAP operating margin at 7%.

CEO James Xiao cited strong execution and increasing customer demand, pointing to AI-driven semiconductor investment; focus remains on UCT 3.0 capacity expansion and digital transformation.

For the third quarter, revenue is forecast at $700 million to $750 million, with GAAP EPS of $0.67 to $0.87 and non-GAAP EPS of $0.83 to $1.03.
