Unilever, Seri Industrial joint venture targets Pozzilli plastics recycling site by 2028

Seri Industrial agreed with Unilever to convert the Pozzilli plant via Packaging to Polymers, a joint venture formed in 2021.

Invitalia confirmed more than EUR 80 million in public support for the project, including about EUR 16 million in grants. Funding includes about EUR 65 million in subsidized financing; the site targets recycled plastic feedstock from post-consumer packaging.

Conversion work is under way; first product sales are targeted for autumn 2028.
