Travelers must provide their Spirit confirmation number, proof of purchase and a MileagePlus membership number to qualify. This measure covers all Spirit departure cities including Atlanta, Chicago, Fort Lauderdale and others.

Spirit Airlines employees are eligible for United's standard pass travel benefits for two weeks, allowing them to secure space-available flights to return home or reach new destinations. United is also giving hiring preference to Spirit staff through a dedicated application portal, highlighting open roles and expediting recruiter reviews.
