United Airlines, JetBlue Start Cross-Booking with Cash, Points and Miles

United Airlines and JetBlue launched cross-booking on their websites and apps, letting customers pay with cash, TrueBlue points or MileagePlus miles for eligible flights and expanding network reach. Phases will introduce reciprocal loyalty perks, Paisly vacation packages and up to seven United roundtrips at JFK’s Terminal 6 starting in 2027.

1. Cross-Booking Rollout

Starting this week, United Airlines and JetBlue customers can purchase eligible flights operated by either carrier using cash, TrueBlue points or MileagePlus miles on both airlines’ websites and mobile apps.

2. Payment Flexibility and Network Reach

The integration leverages JetBlue’s leisure markets and United’s global footprint, enabling seamless bookings and clearer loyalty value across North America, Europe and select international markets.

3. Upcoming Loyalty and Expansion Features

Later phases will add reciprocal perks such as priority boarding and extra legroom, Paisly-powered vacation packages including hotels and cruises, and slot access for up to seven United roundtrips at JFK’s Terminal 6 beginning in 2027.
