United Airlines Launches Oct. 31 Nonstop Newark–St. Croix Flights on 126-Seat 737
UAL•United Airlines will be the sole carrier offering Saturday nonstop flights between St. Croix and Newark/New York starting October 31, 2026, using a Boeing 737-700 configured with 126 seats, including 12 in business class. This addition increases United’s Caribbean network from Newark to 23 destinations, the most among any carrier.

United Airlines will inaugurate nonstop service between St. Croix (STX) and Newark/New York (EWR) on October 31, 2026, becoming the only carrier on this link. Flights will operate Saturdays, opening direct access between the U.S. Virgin Islands and the New York metro area.
2. Fleet and Schedule
The service will use a Boeing 737-700 with 126 seats, including 12 business class. The outbound flight departs Newark at 9:03 a.m. and arrives St. Croix at 1:20 p.m.; the return leaves St. Croix at 2:25 p.m. and lands in Newark at 6:58 p.m.
3. Caribbean Network Expansion
With this route, United’s Newark hub will serve 23 Caribbean destinations, surpassing all other carriers in the region. The addition complements existing Newark–St. Thomas service and offers greater flexibility for island-hopping itineraries.
