1. Launch Details
United Airlines will introduce 30 new dishes on Polaris international business class flights starting August 1 across select long-haul routes. The menus, available on flights from seven U.S. hubs and international gateways including London, São Paulo and Tokyo, encompass appetizers, salads and entrées.
2. Chef Collaboration
Eleven globally recognized chefs, including James Beard award winners, developed the multi-course menus inspired by their home cities. Dishes range from burrata with braised leeks by Chef Nancy Silverton to Ethiopian-coffee glazed short ribs by Chef Fariyal Abdullahi.
3. Inflight Entertainment Integration
Passengers will access exclusive original content on inflight entertainment systems detailing the chefs' creative processes and menu engineering for high-altitude conditions. This branded programming aims to enhance passenger engagement and showcase United’s hospitality innovation.
