UBAB•UB Community Development joins $28 million New Markets Tax Credits financing
UB Community Development, a United Bancorporation of Alabama operating subsidiary, joined a $28 million New Markets Tax Credits financing in Monroeville, Alabama.
UB Community Development provided $6 million to acquire, renovate, and equip a 330,000-square-foot former Vanity Fair facility for tractor assembly.
The project targets 56 permanent full-time jobs, and the site will serve as an assembly, manufacturing, and distribution plant for Bad Boy Mowers.
UB Community Development reported $57 million placed into six Southeast projects year-to-date 2026, supporting $290 million total investment.
