United Fire Group appoints Teresa Brown to board as independent director

United Fire Group appointed Teresa “Terri” Brown as an independent Class C director, effective Aug. 21, 2026.
Brown will serve on the board’s risk management committee and audit committee.
She is a senior advisor at Boston Consulting Group, formerly executive vice president and CFO at Grange Insurance from 2016 to 2024.
The board expands to 12 members with the appointment.
