United Opens 787-9 Dreamliner Booking with 99 Premium Seats, April 22 Singapore Launch
United opens bookings on its first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with Elevated interior offering 99 premium seats including eight Polaris Studio suites with 27-inch 4K OLED screens. The inaugural service departs San Francisco for Singapore on April 22, followed by London on April 30 while serving domestic routes before long-haul operations.
1. Booking Launch and Inaugural Routes
Travelers can now book seats on United’s first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with Elevated interior via United.com and the United app. The inaugural international flight UA1 will depart San Francisco for Singapore on April 22, followed by UA901 service to London on April 30.

The aircraft features 99 premium seats including eight Polaris Studio lie-flat suites with privacy doors, extra ottoman seats, and 27-inch 4K OLED screens. All cabins offer Bluetooth connectivity, wireless charging, Saks Fifth Avenue bedding, exclusive amenity kits and upgraded dining options.
3. Future Fleet Deployment
Before long-haul launches, the aircraft will serve domestic routes between San Francisco and Houston for crew familiarization. United plans to have at least 30 Boeing 787-9s with the Elevated interior operating globally by the end of 2027.
