Universal Health Services posted Q2 net income attributable to shareholders of $358.45 million, up 2%, as net revenues climbed 8.3% to $4.64 billion.

Operating income rose to $516.68 million; operating margin narrowed 0.6 percentage points to 11.1% on higher operating costs.

Interest expense, net increased 13% to $39.91 million, lifting pre-tax income 1% to $479.13 million.
