Trish Ellis has been elevated to Vice President of Human Resources after spearheading talent acquisition, employee relations, leadership development and people operations infrastructure. In her new role, she will oversee HR operations, organizational initiatives and leadership training across the expanding workforce.
Over the past year, Unusual Machines increased its headcount from fewer than 20 to more than 200 employees while scaling recruiting and onboarding processes. This growth supported the company’s expanded manufacturing, fulfillment and operational footprint in Orlando.
The company has broadened its U.S.-based manufacturing and fulfillment facilities to ramp up production of NDAA-compliant drone components. These expansions enhance capacity and streamline supply for its diversified drone parts and FPV equipment lines.
Unusual Machines expects continued hiring and infrastructure investments throughout 2026 to support further capacity scaling and meet rising demand in the multi-billion-dollar U.S. drone components market.
