UPS invests more than $2 billion in international, healthcare, supply chain expansion through 2028
UPS•UPS outlines multi-year network investment
UPS launched a more than $2 billion investment program across its international, healthcare and supply chain solutions operations from 2024 through 2028.
The spending is aimed at faster service, greater customer control and stronger resilience amid shifting trade routes, regulatory change and supply chain disruption.
Planned capacity additions include:
- A new Philippines hub at Clark Airport in Q4 2026
- A Barrie, Ontario facility in 2027
- A new air hub at Hong Kong International Airport in 2028
UPS said the expansion will help build an integrated air-ground-brokerage-distribution network, with emphasis on cold-chain logistics, automation, time-definite heavy air freight coverage across North America and tighter end-to-end shipment visibility.
