Ur-Energy Sees Encouraging Uranium Targets at Lost Soldier and North Hadsell
On January 28 Ur-Energy reported drilling updates from its Lost Soldier and North Hadsell uranium projects in Wyoming’s Great Divide Basin. Hydrogeologic data gathered at Lost Soldier and identification of new roll-front targets at North Hadsell delivered encouraging indicators of additional uranium resources.
1. Lost Soldier Hydrogeologic Update
Ur-Energy’s drilling campaign at Lost Soldier focused on collecting hydrogeologic data to assess permeability and aquifer properties. Preliminary results indicate favourable groundwater flow conditions that may support future in situ recovery operations and enhance uranium resource estimates.
2. North Hadsell Roll-Front Target Discovery
Exploration at North Hadsell identified multiple new roll-front uranium targets through geophysical surveys and core drilling. These structural traps suggest additional mineralization zones beyond earlier resource models, boosting the project’s exploration potential.
3. Implications for Wyoming Portfolio
The combined findings reinforce momentum across Ur-Energy’s Great Divide Basin assets, complementing existing projects such as Lost Creek and Shirley Basin. Management plans to advance technical studies and follow-up drilling to quantify resources and prepare for potential development phases.
