1. Expansion at Christensen Ranch
Uranium Energy Corp has commenced uranium extraction at three newly approved ISR header houses in Wyoming’s Christensen Ranch wellfield 11, with one additional header house awaiting state approval and three under construction in wellfields 12 and 10-extension. This development is expected to significantly increase the company’s annual uranium output from its Wyoming operations.
2. NRC Docketing for U.S. Conversion Facility
Its subsidiary United States Uranium Refining & Conversion Corp obtained a docket number from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission for its proposed uranium conversion facility under 10 CFR Part 40. The project advances UEC’s plan for a vertically integrated U.S. nuclear fuel supply chain, with site selection and formal license application to follow engineering and design completion.
