The US 30-year bond yield briefly touched 5.7041% on Wednesday, reaching a fresh 24-year high ahead of the release of the Federal Reserve’s September meeting minutes.
2. Bond selling resumes
Global yields climbed again as inflation and fiscal worries weighed on markets and oil prices rose. Brent crude was up more than 1% at around $101.54 a barrel. Traders awaited a 10-year Treasury auction later Wednesday and a 30-year auction on Thursday.
