US 30-year mortgage rate falls to 7.32%, Freddie Mac says

Freddie Mac's survey showed the average 30-year fixed-rate mortgage at 7.32% on Oct. 22, 2026, compared with 7.4% the previous week. The 15-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 6.68%, down from 6.71%; a year earlier, the rates were 6.19% and 5.44%, respectively.
