US approves $270 million sale of 155mm artillery shells to Norway

The U.S. State Department has approved the possible sale to Norway of 155mm M795 high-explosive artillery shells and related support, valued at $270 million, the department said in a statement on Wednesday.

The principal contractors for the sale are American Ordnance and General Dynamics, the statement said.
