US approves potential $4.50 billion sale of aerial refueling aircraft to Qatar

The U.S. State Department said on Thursday that it had approved the potential sale of KC-46A aerial refueling aircraft and related equipment to Qatar for an estimated cost of $4.50 billion.

The principal contractors for the sale will be Boeing BA.N, Pratt & Whitney Military Engines, RTX Corp RTX.N, and Northrop Grumman Corp NOC.N, the State Department said in a statement.
