US bank QNB rises in Nasdaq debut after $45 million share sale

QNBC•U.S. bank QNB Corp's QNBC.PK shares rose in their Nasdaq debut after a $45 million share sale.
The stock opened at $44.50 apiece versus the $42 offer price.
Quakertown, Pennsylvania-based QNBC sold about 1.1 million shares at $42 apiece.
Proceeds will be used for general purposes, including repositioning the bond portfolio, repaying debt, funding new loans and supporting capital ratios.
QNBC, which is uplisting to Nasdaq from OTC Markets, currently operates fourteen branches in Bucks, Lehigh and Montgomery counties.
Brean Capital served as lead book-running manager for the offering, while Performance Trust Capital Partners acted as joint book-running manager.
