US Cash Crude-Grades mixed on final day of cash roll period

- ICE Brent October futures LCOc1 fell $3.59 to settle at $88.58 a barrel
- WTI October crude CLc1 futures fell $2.65 to settle at $82.36 a barrel
- The Brent/WTI spread narrowed 89 cents to last trade at minus $6.27, after hitting a high of minus $6.16 and a low of minus $7.32
ExxonMobil update and cash crude pricing
ExxonMobil XOM.N said operations have returned to normal at its Liza Unity floating production, storage and offloading vessel in Guyana following a small fire on Sunday.
Offloading activities, which were briefly interrupted by the incident, have now been completed, the company added. Guyana authorities on Monday said they would probe the incident.
Prices to roll positions from September to October traded at $1.20 on the final day of the roll period that traders use to square positions, adjust their slates and net out any exposure.
- Light Louisiana Sweet for September delivery was steady at a midpoint of a $3.50 premium and was seen bid and offered between a $3 and $4 a barrel premium to U.S. crude futures CLc1
- Mars Sour fell $1 to a midpoint of a parity and was seen bid and offered between a discount of $1 and $1 a barrel premium to U.S. crude futures CLc1
- WTI Midland was steady at a midpoint of a 80-cent premium and was seen bid and offered between a 70-cent and 90-cent a barrel premium to U.S. crude futures CLc1
- West Texas Sour fell 12 cents to a midpoint of a $1.70 discount and was seen bid and offered between a $1.80 and $1.60 a barrel discount to U.S. crude futures CLc1
- WTI at East Houston, also known as MEH, traded between a 90-cent and $1.10 a barrel premium to U.S. crude futures CLc1
