BA•Several online services supporting US federal bankruptcy systems went offline after a cybersecurity incident involving BAE Systems IT, which operates the Bankruptcy Noticing Center’s systems and websites. The incident halted production and distribution of bankruptcy notices for federal bankruptcy courts.
The Administrative Office of the US Courts said access to the Bankruptcy Noticing Center systems and websites operated by BAE Systems IT is unavailable following a cybersecurity incident. The disruption also halted the BNC’s production and distribution of bankruptcy notices for courts nationwide.
BAE Systems said the incident is isolated to the BNC system and that it took immediate steps to address it. The company is investigating and coordinating with the courts on its response.
