US GoldMining advances 2026 Whistler Alaska drilling past 5,000 meters, assays due in coming weeks

A March 2 preliminary economic assessment modeled an after-tax NPV5% of USD 2 billion, a 33% IRR and a 2.1-year payback, using indicated resources from the main deposit.
US GoldMining also said it hosted a U.S. House delegation on Aug. 24, highlighting policy support for critical minerals and infrastructure tied to the proposed West Susitna Access Road.
2026 Whistler drilling program advances
US GoldMining advanced its fully funded 2026 exploration program at the 100%-owned Whistler gold-copper project in Alaska.
The company said it completed 11 diamond drill holes totaling over 5,000 meters across eight targets, with initial assay results expected in the coming weeks.
The program is targeting district-scale resource growth around the core Whistler deposit, with mapping and sampling underway across multiple regional target areas.
