US Gulf soybean and corn bids steady
CORN•US Gulf soybean and corn basis bids were largely steady on Monday. Soybeans were excluded from announced US-China tariff cuts covering $60 billion worth of each other's imports.
1. Bids remain steady
Basis bids for soybeans shipped by barge to the US Gulf Coast were flat on Monday, while Gulf corn and soybean basis bids were largely steady.
2. Soybeans excluded
The US and China agreed to cut tariffs on $60 billion worth of each other's imports. The cuts cover US agricultural goods including corn, wheat, sorghum, vegetable oils, meat and dairy products, but omit soybeans, China's largest US agricultural import.
