US-India trade deal not imminent, Greer says
SPY•U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer said a bilateral trade deal with India was not imminent, though the two countries had identified sticking points and were working toward resolving them.

Greer said the Trump administration was working with India to finalize a bilateral trade deal. He described his conversation with Indian Trade Minister Piyush Goyal at the G20 trade ministers meeting as “very constructive” and said officials were continuing discussions.
