US LNG exports climbed to their second-highest monthly level on record in October, with Europe-bound shipments increasing by nearly 1 million metric tons to 6.89 million. The European TTF and Asian JKM benchmarks each averaged about $28 per million British thermal units, among their highest levels since the 2022 energy crisis.

US shipments to Asia were 2.73 million metric tons, down from 2.84 million in September, while Egypt imported 0.68 million metric tons and Latin America received 0.68 million. Another 0.59 million metric tons departed US terminals without a final destination.
