Midwest refinery utilization hits record

NEW YORK, Aug. 26 (Reuters) - U.S. Midwest refinery utilization rose to a record high of 101.8% in the week ended August 21, the Energy Information Administration said on Wednesday.

Total U.S. refinery utilization rates also rose to multi-year highs, rising to 97.4%, the highest since September 2018, the data showed.
