NEW YORK, July 31 (Reuters) - Crude oil output from the United States fell to about 13.71 million barrels per day in May, down about 2% from a record in April, according to data published by the U.S. Energy Information Administration on Friday.
Total U.S. demand for crude oil and petroleum products fell over 3.5% in May to about 20.07 million bpd, the lowest since March 2025, the EIA data showed.
