U.S. September industrial output rises 0.7 percent
SPY•U.S. industrial production rose 0.7% in September, above the 0.4% forecast, while capacity use increased to 76.9% from 76.4% in August.

Industrial production rose 0.7% in September after gains of 0.1% in August and 0.2% in July. Capacity use was 76.9%, compared with 76.4% in August and a 76.5% forecast. Manufacturing output rose 0.3%, while utilities output climbed 3.5%.
