1. Futures edge higher

2. Company shares mixed
Coca-Cola rose 0.3% after raising its annual profit forecast, while PayPal fell close to 1% despite lifting its annual adjusted profit outlook. Tesla gained more than 1%. Royal Caribbean climbed 4.6% after beating third-quarter profit estimates, while Whirlpool dropped 8% after reporting a quarterly loss and missing revenue expectations.
3. AI and earnings in focus
Alphabet, Microsoft and Amazon.com are expected to report results later this week, with investors watching whether AI investments are driving growth. Meta was flat after increasing its planned equity fundraising to $97.5 billion to fund AI expansion. Nvidia, Advanced Micro Devices and Broadcom have shown interest in investing up to $5 billion in total.
