U.S. indexes edge higher as investors return to equities
Sept. 2 (Reuters) - The major U.S. stock indexes were set to end a three-day losing streak on Wednesday, as investors cautiously dipped back into equities despite renewed clashes in the Middle East.
At 13:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.37% at 52,962.65. The S&P 500 was up 0.42% at 7,663.64, and the Nasdaq Composite was up 0.36% at 26,194.54.
