US Stocks-S&P 500, Nasdaq futures inch up before Fed decision; chip stocks wobble

At 05:42 a.m. ET, Dow E-minis YMcv1 were down 89 points, or 0.17%, and S&P 500 E-minis EScv1 were up 17.5 points, or 0.23%. Nasdaq 100 E-minis NQcv1 were up 76.75 points, or 0.27%.
Tech concerns have pushed the Nasdaq .IXIC to a three-month low, prompting investors to focus on other areas of the market such as consumer staples .SPLRCS and healthcare .SPXHC. The blue-chip Dow .DJI is also at a two-week high.
The spotlight later in the day will be on the Fed's monetary policy verdict, due at 2:00 p.m. ET, against the backdrop of crude prices LCOc1 soaring by 3.3% to $86.8 a barrel as tensions in the Middle East flared up.
Traders are pricing in only a 35.1% likelihood that the Fed will hike interest rates, LSEG-compiled data showed, on the back of a report that showed price pressures moderated in the previous month.
