USA Rare Earth has commissioned its Phase 1a NdFeB magnet production line in Stillwater, Oklahoma, enabling fulfillment of customer orders in Q2 2026. Phase 1a is slated to ramp to 600 mtpa by end-2026, with total site capacity expanding to 1,200 mtpa in Q1 2027.

1. Commissioning of Phase 1a Magnet Production

USA Rare Earth has completed commissioning of its commercial NdFeB permanent magnet production line (Phase 1a) at the Stillwater, Oklahoma facility. This marks the first operational step in the company’s vertically integrated rare earth value chain.

2. Order Fulfillment and Ramp Schedule

The Phase 1a line enables fulfillment of customer orders starting in the second quarter of 2026. USAR expects to ramp Phase 1a capacity to 600 mtpa by end-Q4 2026 and to reach a combined 1,200 mtpa following Phase 1b in Q1 2027.

3. Strategic and Market Impact

Commissioning advances USAR’s goal to reshape the Western rare earth supply chain and reduce reliance on foreign manufacturers. High-grade magnets from the Stillwater site will serve aerospace, defense, energy and electric mobility sectors requiring high-temperature performance.
