Riven will run automated experiments to generate training data, while Pasqal’s neutral-atom QPU will benchmark quantum models versus classical approaches.
Work will be tailored to USA Rare Earth feedstocks including Round Top mine material, third-party mixed rare earth carbonates and recycled magnet swarf.

Pasqal entered a strategic partnership with USA Rare Earth, joined by Riven Systems, to develop next-generation rare earth separation technology.
The program targets the discovery of new extractant molecules using quantum machine learning to cut plant size, cost, energy use and stage count.
