USA Rare Earth and Arnold Magnetic Technologies signed a non-exclusive mutual sales and distribution agreement authorizing each to sell and distribute the other’s rare earth magnet products. USA Rare Earth will offer Arnold’s SmCo and NdFeB finished permanent magnets while Arnold will market USAR’s processed NdFeB feedstock and finished magnets. Each company retains responsibility for product quality, warranties and liabilities.

The agreement expands availability of U.S.-manufactured magnets for aerospace, defense, semiconductor and advanced technology applications, addressing critical shortages in domestic supply. By connecting processed materials with precision manufacturing, customers gain access to compliance-ready magnet solutions produced at scale. The collaboration supports U.S. policy goals to reduce reliance on foreign rare earth sources and bolster national security.

The partnership complements USA Rare Earth’s integrated mine-to-magnet operations, which span heavy rare earth extraction at Round Top, separation, metal-making via Less Common Metals, and in-state magnet manufacturing. Arnold’s global engineering and assembly capabilities enhance the combined portfolio of high-performance magnets. This synergy positions both companies to meet high-volume and mission-specific demand.
