Utah Medical Products unit Femcare buys UK’s Orion Medical Supplies for £3.6 million
UTMD•Femcare acquires Orion Medical Supplies
Femcare, a Utah Medical Products unit, bought Orion Medical Supplies, a UK assembler and distributor of harm reduction medical device kits.
The purchase price was set at GBP 3.6 million and funded from cash reserves.
Orion is expected to add about USD 6 million to annual consolidated sales, supported by existing Femcare distribution across the UK and Europe.
Operations are slated to move into Femcare’s Romsey facilities following a transition period, with the aim of lowering overhead as a share of UK sales.
